SUMMARY:Toy Drive to support Toys for Tots
DESCRIPTION:We kick off December with our second annual drive and ask each student to bring a new and unwrapped toy into school to support the non-profit Toys for Tots. We recommend that you bring your child with you as you pick out a toy together. Toys for Tots asks us to spend approximately $10 for donated toys. Sometimes finding something they have already makes parting with the toy a little easier. All of the collected toys are brought to our local fire house by the teachers and students prior the holiday break. We walk with wagons and sing songs as we meet our local firefighters and enjoy cocoa back at the school afterwards. \nToys are distributed to kids all over Seattle. We thank you for your support of this very important event. \n
